DigitalTiger — digital marketing for local trades in Exeter and Devon

Terms and conditions

These terms cover use of this website and the standard basis on which DigitalTiger provides services. The specific terms for your work are confirmed in writing before anything starts.

Website use

Content on this website is provided for general information. It does not constitute a guarantee of any specific commercial result.

Who we are

DigitalTiger is a sole trader business based in Exeter, Devon, and is not VAT registered. Prices quoted are the total payable, with no VAT added.

Fees and payment

Monthly packages are billed monthly in advance. One-off website builds are quoted in writing, with a deposit due before work begins and the balance due on completion, before the site goes live. Monthly website plans are billed monthly over the agreed 24-month term.

Contract length and cancellation

Monthly care packages run month to month on a rolling basis with no minimum term; either side can cancel with one month’s written notice. Monthly website plans run for the agreed 24-month term, because the build cost is spread across it. Cancelling does not entitle a refund of fees already paid for work delivered.

What you own

Your domain, hosting, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and analytics are registered in your name and remain yours. On full payment, ownership of the website content and design we create for you passes to you. Third-party software, plugins, fonts and stock imagery remain subject to their own licences.

Your responsibilities

You agree to supply content, photographs, access and approvals in reasonable time, and to confirm that anything you supply is accurate and that you have the right to use it. Delays in supplying material will move agreed timelines.

Results and liability

Search rankings, ad performance and enquiry volumes depend on factors outside our control, including search-engine changes and competitor activity, so no specific ranking, traffic or revenue result is guaranteed. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury or fraud. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to the fees you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost profits.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
