Working with DigitalTiger

How does DigitalTiger charge?

Monthly care packages start at £99 a month and run to £399 a month. Websites start at £595 as a one-off, or £69 a month spread over 24 months. Every price is confirmed in writing before any work starts, and as a sole trader who is not VAT registered, the price you see is the price you pay.

Are you tied into long contracts?

The monthly care packages are month-to-month rolling contracts with no minimum term — cancel with a month's notice. Monthly website plans run on a 24-month agreement because the build cost is spread across it. Full terms are set out in writing before you start.

Who owns the website and accounts you build?

You do. Domains, hosting, analytics, Google Business Profile and ad accounts are set up in your name so you keep control if we ever stop working together.

How quickly will I see results?

Paid search can produce enquiries within days. SEO and local visibility usually show meaningful movement over months, not weeks, because they depend on indexing, competition and authority.

Do you work with businesses outside Devon?

Yes, though Devon is our focus and where our local search knowledge is strongest.

Website Design & Development questions

How much does a website cost in the UK?

DigitalTiger trade websites are £595 for a five-page starter site, £895 for a lead-generating site with individual service pages, and from £1,495 for a larger multi-service site. You can also spread a website from £69 a month on a 24-month agreement.

More detail

The biggest cost drivers are the number of unique page templates, whether copy and photography already exist, and whether the site needs bookings, payments or CRM integration. A five-page brochure rebuild and a forty-page service and location architecture are very different projects.

Will a redesign hurt my Google rankings?

It can, if URLs change without redirects. We map every existing indexed URL to its closest new equivalent and apply 301 redirects before launch to preserve search equity.

More detail

We also keep the existing page titles and content that already earn traffic, and only rewrite where the old page is underperforming or duplicated elsewhere.

Can I edit the website myself afterwards?

Yes. Content is structured so ordinary text, image and page changes do not require a developer.

Do you build on WordPress?

We build and maintain sites on WordPress and modern custom-built stacks, and we can look after existing Wix, Squarespace and GoDaddy sites where a rebuild is not worth it yet.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) questions

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can change visibility within weeks, while competitive commercial rankings typically take several months of consistent content and authority work.

More detail

The realistic timeline depends on your starting position, how competitive your market is, and how quickly content and technical changes can be approved and published.

What is the difference between SEO and local SEO?

SEO covers your visibility in search generally; local SEO focuses specifically on searches with local intent and on Google Maps and Google Business Profile results.

Can you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Nobody can guarantee rankings, because Google's results are not for sale. We commit to method, transparency and measurable reporting instead.

Do I need an SEO audit before starting?

Usually yes. An audit prevents spending months on content while a technical problem quietly suppresses the whole site.

Local SEO questions

Why is my business not showing on Google Maps?

The most common causes are an unverified or incomplete Google Business Profile, an incorrect service area, inconsistent business details across the web, or simply being outside the searcher's proximity radius.

Can I rank in a town where I have no office?

In organic results, yes, if you have genuinely useful content and relevance for that area. Map pack ranking is heavily proximity-based and much harder without a verified presence there.

Do I need a page for every town I serve?

Only where you can write something genuinely different and useful. Duplicated town pages with swapped names tend to be ignored or devalued.

Google Business Profile Optimisation questions

Why was my Google Business Profile suspended?

Suspensions usually follow a guideline breach: an ineligible address, keyword stuffing in the business name, a virtual office, or a sudden edit that triggered review.

More detail

Reinstatement depends on correcting the underlying breach and supplying evidence of a legitimate business.

Do Google Posts help rankings?

Posts mainly help conversion and engagement rather than ranking directly, but an active profile tends to perform better overall.

How many photos should I add?

Enough to genuinely represent the business, updated regularly, rather than a one-off batch at setup.

Google Ads & PPC questions

How much should I spend on Google Ads?

Enough to gather meaningful conversion data in your market — usually driven by your cost per click and how many enquiries you need each month.

More detail

In low-competition local markets that figure is modest; in competitive commercial categories it is considerably higher.

Should I do SEO or Google Ads?

Ads buy immediate visibility and predictable volume; SEO compounds and lowers long-term cost per enquiry. Most growing businesses benefit from both.

Do you run Meta or other ad platforms?

Google Ads — including Search and Local Services — plus Facebook and Instagram ads. For most local trades, Google Search is where the ready-to-buy demand is, so that is usually where we start.

Reputation & Review Management questions

Can I remove a bad Google review?

Only if it breaches Google's policies — for example spam, conflict of interest or offensive content. Genuine negative opinion cannot be removed, but it can be answered well.

Is it against the rules to ask customers for reviews?

No. Asking is allowed and encouraged. Incentivising, filtering out unhappy customers, or writing reviews yourself is not.

How many reviews do I need?

Enough to be credible against the businesses you compete with locally, and recent enough to look current.

Not sure what you need yet?

Ask for a review of your current online presence and we will tell you where the biggest gap is before you commit to anything.
